色を表す単語を使った曲は？
とりあえずは赤青（緑）黄に限定。

色と言えば、僕にはとっても縁のある色がある。それは臙脂（えんじ）。英語ではdark red。地味だ。でもフランス語の香りがは入るとbordeauxとかburgundyとか。かっこいい。（Wikiによると”名前の由来は中国の紅花の一大産地である「燕支山」にちなみ、本来は紅花の色素を沈殿させた艶紅をこの名で呼んだらしい。”とのこと。）

どう縁があるかというと、何と小学校、中学校、高校、大学全てスクール・カラーが臙脂なのだ。（もちろん、高校までは公立だから自ら選んだわけではない。） だから地味な色だが何故か好きだ。ポロシャツやベルトや靴や時計ベルトも臙脂のものをもっている。

で、臙脂色の虫といったら？

そう、カブト虫！

光が当たった雄のカブト虫を見たことがあるだろうか。臙脂なのだ。少なくとも私の実家の”北の町”で子供の頃捕まえたカブト虫は赤味がかった茶色、臙脂だったのだ。

僕は”北”（Northern Songs）以外にも”カブト虫”（beetle)にも縁があったのだ。
これまた偶然だけど、半端なファンだけど、ビートルズと関係があるみたいで何かうれしい。

せっかく”臙脂”に縁があるのだから、地味だけどおいしい赤ワインのように味わい深く、”地”（本来備わっている性質）として”味”（趣き）のある人間になりたいなーと思っている。
